Rachel Lasseter is a longtime Austinite and a native Texan, born in Dallas and growing up in Arlington. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University and her Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. In her free time she likes to explore Austin, try out new restaurants and local pubs, stand up paddle around Town Lake/Lady Bird Lake or spend time with her dog, Winston, a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix that she adopted from the Austin Animal Center.
